Percival Ponce - a foppish dandy of the regency period!

Well here he is!  Percival Ponce - the Foppish Dandy in his powdered wig!

 Move over Liberace! 

He came together much better than I expected and looks only slightly different than his prototype.  What do you think? This shows some detailing.  He's got a cute nose!  And I've got RSI!  So many drawings -42!  Plus a few photo's.  Yes that is a beauty spot on his cheek!

I've been playing with ideas and decided to make a pattern of Percival Ponce!  Here's his head!  The small one!  The other is another idea in the pipeline!

I've got five patterns on the go!  At present I'm working on  - Percival Ponce!  He's a bit of an Aristocratic Fashionista!  He wears the last thing in fashion right down to his powdered wig!  He does get up on his soapbox though and spouts such drivell, but passers by are fascinated because he is such a spectacle!

I have to say, he's coming along nicely and I'm dying to see how others interpret him!  He is one of the dolls already on my site, but will look a little different because this one will be the second one.  Coming soon!

At Last!  Here is Olive's creation! "Steam Punk Victoria"!  Right down to her black lace up boots to her Top Hat, she is beautifully made!  Rather winsome and not at all terrifyng, but she looks the part!  So old style that she's quite modern! Well done Olive!

This is my version of "The Innkeepers Wife" from Les Misrables.  She has a wire armature and fur fabric hair.  I liked the way I did the face characterisation - my first go at something like that, so I I'm pleased with the result.  Not happy with the neck though, but lovely breasts!  First time at making a doll following Jack Johnston's body armature style, but mine seems to lack hips - or something!  I was pleased with my attempot at making shoes for the first time too, so a lot of firsts with this one!  I loved the process of nutting it out anyway!  I will make a pattern of it one day soon, I think.  She could stand or sit.  I designed her costume too, and the fabric is wool!  Went together so well.
